Cloud First Backup
Our cloud first backup approach ensures that your backups are send directly to the cloud. No appliance is needed and you can keep local copies if you prefer to do so.
Backup pricing includes a fixed fee that takes care of your backups and you can do as many restores as you would like, without accruing additional charges.
This point is worth repeating again. Many cloud solutions make it easy and cost effective to get data (backups) into the cloud, but restores that extracts data out of the cloud are often, expensive.
With our solution, there are no additional egress charges. This makes costing very manageable and predictive. IT Managers love the simplicity that this brings to their budget.
Server backup options allow you to choose between two variations. Choose between 500GB or 2TB per server. Backup storage allocation is pooled. For example, if you have 10 X Server licences with 2TB each, you effectively get 20TB of cloud storage space that can be shared amongst those ten servers. Additional storage space can be purchased if required. With up to seven years of retention options available in the cloud, you can choose the retention period that you want.
Data can be stored in various regions. Customers can even choose to store their backups in South Africa.
Many customers don't fully understand the dual responsibility model implemented by their cloud providers. Having a backup of your M365 data is essential for point in time recovery or in other use cases where a user account has been deleted (unlicensed) and unused for 120 days or more. With our cloud first backup solution, customers have the peace of mind that their M365 data is backed up, secure and can be recovered with 1TB of storage space available for each user license. Backups include email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. The 1TB storage allocation per user is pooled amongst all M365 user licenses.
Standby VM copies for fast recovery of servers and scheduled and automated restore test (recovery testing) of systems with full reporting are available.
